Due to this policy, the family will not issue, and have not issued, any licenses for his music to be included in any such film. Lauren Hill may play Rita Marley in Bob Marley Biopic

Lauryn Hill for Marley flick

Lauryn Hill might play the wife of deceased reggae legend Bob Marley in an upcoming biopic.

Marley’s widow Rita has tapped Hill to play her in the movie, based on the 2004 memoir No Woman No Cry.

"Lauryn would be ideal. She sees my life as her life,” Rita said. "This story is about a girl from the ghetto and a boy from the rural areas. It's more than being a superstar. It's more than just a story, it's a reality.”
