God Loves Gays (Because I Said So)!

God Loves Gays (Because I Said So)!
by Saab Lofton

"There's a cultural war going on. The religious right is winning. We're losing."
--radio talk show host Howard Stern

God created homosexuality for the express purpose of keeping our population down since Humans ain't bound by mating cycles like animals are. Remember Soylent Green -- the 1973 Charlton Heston movie about an overpopulated dystopia in which there's forty million in New York City alone (and resources are so scarce a jar of strawberry jam cost $150)? Well, that's exactly what The Lord Almighty is trying to prevent by having a certain percentage of Humanity be born gay.

An Open Letter to President-Elect Obama

Picard: I sincerely hope this is the last time I'll find myself here.

Q: You just don't get it, do you, Jean-Luc? The trial never ends.

--from All Good Things, the series finale of Star Trek: The Next Generation

Dear Obama:

You're welcome.

Never Give Up!

Never Give Up!

"Politicians are like weather vanes; our job is to make the wind blow."
--David Brower, three-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee

It's like I told my audience in Las Vegas: If you're going to gamble, gamble on Humanity's chances at achieving a Roddenberryian utopia -- don't bother with the kind of gambling done in a casino. Therefore, even if only a few people read this, I'm still going to encourage activism at all costs.

A Small Price to Pay

A Small Price to Pay
by Saab Lofton

"Not even girls want to be girls so long as our feminine archetype lacks force, strength and power ... The obvious remedy is to create a feminine character with all the strength of Superman plus all the allure of a good and beautiful woman."
—William Moulton Marston, inventor of the lie detector and creator of Wonder Woman

"Cautious, careful people always casting about to preserve their reputation or social standards never can bring about reform."
—Susan B. Anthony

There are times I wish I was a beautiful woman.

The McKinney Interview

Cynthia McKinneyCynthia McKinneyThe McKinney Interview
by Saab Lofton

On September 11th, 2008, I was the keynote speaker at an anti-war event where the Green Party's Vice Presidential candidate, Rose Clemente, put in an appearance -- and speaking of Vice Presidential candidates, the ONLY reason why the Republicans picked Sarah Palin is because the G.O.P. desperately hopes it can pick up all the female voters dissatisfied with the fact that Hillary wasn't nominated or chosen as Obama's VP.

Well, Cynthia McKinney is a woman and SHE'S running for President under the Green Party banner, so those who're so hellbent on voting for a woman this fall have had a presidential ticket with TWO women on it to support all along!
